How Much Do Hair Extensions Cost in Denver?

A useful extension budget includes the hair, installation, and the appointments that keep the result comfortable and blended. At Fluff in LoDo Denver, extension hair is sold separately from the service. Your consultation brings those costs together into a plan for your goals.

Start with hair and installation

The amount of hair depends on your natural density, the length you want, and the method. Length, grams or packs, brand, and custom colour work affect the hair quote. Installation is priced separately by rows, wefts, or individual attachments.

Use our current extension pricing menu for the full service list. The examples below show how to read that menu; they are installation fees, with hair and any agreed colour or additional services quoted separately.

Three installation examples

  • One hand-tied row: $235–$255. A row can be part of a fullness plan. The consultation determines the amount and length of hair to order.
  • Up to 20 tape-in wefts: $275–$295. The menu identifies this as 10 sandwiches. Hair is separate; your artist confirms whether that quantity fits your density and goal.
  • Up to 50 K-tips: $400. Individual placements are planned around the result you want. Ask about the hair order, wear cycle, and later removal and replacement costs.

For more context on quantities, read our guide to grams, rows, and packs. A lower installation price does not necessarily mean a lower total when the hair order or upkeep differs.

Plan for full maintenance

Maintenance is a separate part of the budget. The method, regrowth, attachment condition, and amount of hair determine the appointment you need. Ask your artist for the expected interval, service fee, and what is included.

A mini move-up is different from full maintenance. Fluff’s hand-tied mini service is for qualifying installations done within the last six weeks and does not include a blowout and style. It is not compatible with every technique. New Fluff guests, or guests beyond that window, should plan with the artist for the appropriate full service rather than assuming a mini appointment will fit.

Full hand-tied maintenance includes removal, a wash and blow-dry, and reinstallation. Tape-in maintenance includes removal, a wash and blow-dry, fresh tape, and reinstallation. Check the menu and your booking details for the service that applies to your plan.

Ask for a budget for the year

  • First visit: the hair order, installation, and any agreed colour, removal, or additional styling.
  • Future visits: the expected maintenance interval and fee, including whether a mini service is suitable between full appointments.
  • Replacement hair: when your existing hair may need to be replaced, based on its condition and care.
  • Home care: the products and tools your artist recommends for your attachment method.

Good home care and timely maintenance help protect the hair you have purchased. Use the Denver extension aftercare guide to prepare questions about brushing, drying, heat protection, and mineral buildup.

Extension consultations are in person so your artist can assess density, texture, scalp comfort, and colour match. Bring inspiration and explain how often you can return for maintenance. We will discuss the hair order and service plan before installation.

A Hair Strategy Session costs $25. If you decide to move forward with a hair service, the $25 you paid for your session will be applied toward your hair service appointment.
